A few weeks ago I received an email from the North Florida Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation asking me if I would like to photograph 5 families for this years gala. I was BEYOND excited. My cousin Austin was diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes when he was VERY young, so this cause is something that was very close to my heart. I couldn’t think of a better way to use my passion for photography then by capturing these families. The theme of this year’s gala is “A Mother’s Wish” and JDRF wanted me to photograph 5 women with their children to be featured on Gala night. These five women are being honored because of all their time, energy, and love they put into the North Florida chapter of JDRF. They also have something else in common, either they, or their children are all diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes. It was my honor to capture these amazing families. If anyone is interested in donating to such an awesome cause please check out the North Florida JDRF site at this link. The next few posts will be dedicated to these awesome families. We started Jennifer’s session out at their home. Jennifer has a design business and their house was AMAZING! Then we headed out to a park where Beau and Clara have played since they were teeny tiny. Such sweet children Beau and Clara were. Its obvious how awesome a Mom Jennifer. Jennifer was diagnosed herself with Juvenile Diabetes and has put a lot of time and passion into this cause.
Thanks so much Jennifer for letting me capture the love you have for your 2 children! See you at the Gala!
