I’d met Cathy almost exactly two years prior to the day she said I do. Cathy was the MOH at a very very sweet Bride of mine (and dear friends) wedding, and I just adored her the minute I met her. I also met her Groom that same day. I remember watching them on the dance floor thinking, “Why aren’t these two married yet?”. And then I said to myself, well, I’m glad they aren’t so that I can photograph their wedding!!!! Hehehehe. I know internet, selfish right? Well, I just couldn’t help it. These two have this amazing connection. They are seriously best friends. They are the kind of people who could have fun without the other, but together they have the time of their lives, as does everyone else around them. When I saw Cathy got engaged I did a little happy dance, with my fingers (and toes) crossed, that she would ask me to photograph her wedding. I did backflips when I got her email, asking me if I was available for her wedding date. I just loved Cathy and Travis so much, instantly, from the moment I met them. I couldn’t wait to photograph their wedding day. Cathy and Travis, thank you so much for having me. It was an incredible day!!
This image is a shout to to my sweet Bride Meredith who brought Cathy and I together! (Thanks Meredith and Nick!!).
Loved how all Cathy’s girls had fun little getting ready dresses!
Thank you to my AMAZING 2nd shooter Carolina for getting the below shots of the boys hanging out!!!
Cathy and Travis had a caricature artist on hand at their reception! Amazingly fun detail.
