They couldn’t have asked for a more beautiful day. The weather was perfect, the dress was amazing, and Kelly smiled larger then any other Bride I have ever seen. She was about to marry the man of her dreams, her soul mate. She was excited, and nervous, giddy, and elated at the thought of walking out on that beach and becoming Mrs. Mark Gale. The feeling was mutual judging from the look in Mark’s eyes as he watched Kelly walk over the sand dunes and towards him, ready to say her I Do’s. Such a great couple, the way they just fit together is amazing. I felt so grateful to photograph Kelly and Mark’s wedding. Not just because their love was fantastic, but because were related! Kelly is actually my second cousin, and when she hired me to photograph her wedding I was thrilled. Not only would I get to photograph a really great wedding, I would get to see family I haven’t seen since I was a very little girl :-) Kelly and Mark, thank you for trusting me with your special day, and thank you also, for reminding me just how amazing family can be, and how proud I am to call you all mine.
Love this shot of Kelly that I grabbed while her dress was being tied up. She was so emotional, and she was having a little moment realizing that the day she waited for was finally here.
