Here is how I feel about this family. I ADORE THIS FAMILY! I met Marnie and Brian years ago while visiting my very good friends Jen & Clay at their home in Hawaii. Brian and Clay were stationed on Oahu together, and had actually deployed together as well and Marnie and Jen were very good friends. I liked them as soon as I met them in Hawaii. Down to earth, fun, good people. As luck would have it when my friends Jen and Clay were moved to North Carolina, so were Brian and Marnie!! Which is so fantastic, because they got to continue their friendship in the same town! This time with babies! While I was in North Carolina visiting my friends I photographed Brian and Marnie and their sweet girl Addie when she was just 3 or 4 months old. I was so honored to know that they loved their photos so much that Marnie decided to fly me up to North Carolina to photograph their family again, while Brian was home on R&R from his deployment overseas. I loved that they wanted images of them together, and I loved that they took the time, in the very short 15 days they had together to document their love for each other. The meaning behind that is not lost on me. I just love this family. Brian, I am so glad I could photograph you and your sweet family while you were home. Thank you so much for what you do for all of us, and most importantly come home safe!!!
This is definitely a baby who is VERY happy to have Mommy and Daddy home together.
