Ceremony and Reception: Winter Park Racquet Club
DJ: My FAV – Kristin with Our DJ Rocks
Everyone was huddled inside the Brides Changing room, Lee Anna’s Pastor sweetly said “Well, I think we will need to make a decision”. Seconds before guests had flooded inside the Raquet club from their outdoor ceremony seats. The weather had turned on a dime and Lee Anna’s plans for an outdoor ceremony quickly changed. Most Brides would be frantic, trying to decide whether to wait out the rain, or move everything inside at the last minute. Lee Anna smiled, laughed at the situation and said “You know what, I don’t need the perfect day, I need the perfect man, and I’ve got that, so lets just go ahead and get married inside, right now”. It gave me goosebumps. So many people can get caught up in the production that a wedding can become, and they forget about exactly why they are there. Not Lee Anna and Brian. They were so happy to marry each other, in front of all their family and friends that all the other stuff didn’t matter. They forgot about the chairs and flowers that were outside, now covered in giant puddles. Lee Anna and Brian said I do, inside the Winter Park Raquet Club with all their family and friends standing around them. No chairs, no flower arrangements. Just their loved ones, praying over them as they took a step into their future. It was incredible. I loved dodging and weaving in and out of their guests to capture their love and their vows. It felt so warm, and cozy, and personal. A perfect start to their new lives as husband and wife. Lee Anna and Brian, your ceremony was so perfect, and so the two of you! Warm, cozy, sweet and snuggly. Rain or not, it didn’t matter. You made a commitment to each other that day, surrounded by everyone who loved you. Theres no better way to say I do.
We hid a bit from the rain after the ceremony, and got some snuggly shots under cover :-)
Lee Anna just needed a little but grab ;-)
