I think my very favorite thing about doing what I do is meeting all the amazing families and children that I get to photograph. Sitting in a cube all day in my previous life I never got to make the connections I get to make now. Its so funny because while I may only spend an hour or two with these families, I feel like I have known some of them forever. My clients welcome me into their homes and lives with open arms and allow me to photograph the most important moments, and people in their lives. I leave with a full heart and, my most favorite thing to leave with, hugs. Hugs were definitley not popular while working in corporate America. This family is no exception. I could’ve taken little Carrie home with me, she was so full of personality and love and sweet little Wes and all his giggles.
