Showering Kristin….

A couple weekends ago I had the best experience. Throwing a shower for my best friend. I have thrown and helped throw quite a few showers in my day, however, this was the first shower that I threw as the Maid of Honor and boy was I nervous!! I needed this shower to be as fantastic as Kristin. I have spoken of Kristin a few times before on this blog. She has been my number one fan in starting my venture into photography and I will always be grateful. More grateful then she will ever know. She has been a sounding board for my ideas, a recruiter of new clients who have now become friends and most importantly she stood behind me and cheered me on while I jumped head first into my passion of photography. Kris, I could never do our friendship justice just by throwing you a simple bridal shower, I hope you never forget how much you are loved by myself, and everyone else who came to “shower” you with wishes.

Kristin’s shower started with everyone leaving their advice and wishes in a guest book.

There were lots of games.
My favorite game was a new one that I thought up, I like to call it “Guess that Celebrity Wedding”. I chose some famous wedding photos and blurred their faces to make it a little harder to guess who was who.

Another favorite, “Remember what is on Kristin’s Apron”. Mostly because I love that little apron.
There was lots of ring admiring…
Lots of friends and family…

There was lots of food…

We even had a cookie bar to thank everyone for making Kristin’s shower so “sweet”.

and of course there were lots of gifts…

Melanie had the all important job of crafting the bow bouquet, Kris has the important job of walking down the aisle with it at the rehearsal…

Most importantly there was lots of laughter…
